Every Year
for Minjerribah wildlife
Wildlife care has changed on Minjerribah.
For many years, sick and injured wildlife on Minjerribah often needed to travel to the mainland for specialised veterinary treatment and rehabilitation — a long and stressful journey away from where they were found.
Today, Straddie Vet’s dedicated Koala and Wildlife Triage and Rehabilitation Centre is changing that. Native wildlife can now receive veterinary triage, treatment and rehabilitation here on the island, helping reduce mainland transfers and, wherever possible, allowing animals to recover and released on Minjerribah.
Your pledge helps fund the wildlife-specific resources needed to keep this care possible.
